Dog Gone Visiting, an organization in Salem, NH, was founded by Sue Drouin M.S., CCC-SLP. Sue is also founder of CommuniK-9, Inc. a private Speech-Language Pathology practice serving a broad range of clients who all have developmental disabilities and disorders. Dog Gone Visiting is designed to provide animal contact to children recognized as "in need" secondary to a broad variety of issues including yet not limited to educational, familial, medical and financial challenges. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers and companion pets who provide recreational and social-emotional engagements and activities to children in a variety of settings.
Dog Gone Visiting is a proud member of the nationwide Delta Society’s® Pet Partners® Program, which provides pet owners and their pets the training and screening needed to safely and effectively share each special animal's spirit. All of these programs are committed to providing safe, well trained and screened Teams (volunteers and pets) ensured by strictly following the Delta Society’s Standards of Practice.
